Introduction to AutoCAD:

This intensive 4 day course provides all the skills necessary to create 2D & simple 3D drawings. You will get an overview of most of AutoCAD’s features with an emphasis on drawing, setup, creation, and plotting. In this course you will learn how to use all of the basic AutoCAD commands to create finished drawings.

By the class end you will have completed a basic floor plan with accurate dimensions,  created your own title block, and learned to accurately plot your drawing to scale.

Upon completion of this course you will have acquired the necessary skills to create professional drawings with AutoCAD.

Who should attend: Anyone interested in the fundamentals of AutoCAD for: Civil, Architecture, Facilities Management, HVAC, GIS

Prerequisite: Familiarity and understanding of Windows user interface; file, folder structures, and maximizing/minimizing/moving a window.

Cost:  $1,150 for 4 day class.           Textbook is included.
